Showing Love Valentine's Day Printable

Valentine’s Day is usually all about romantic love.  And that’s a wonderful thing!  Who doesn’t appreciate roses or chocolate or a special night out with that significant other?

But as much as I want my kids to appreciate a little romance, I really do hope to emphasize something more.

Personally, I love the story of Saint Valentine and his commitment to perform marriages in opposition to a cruel emperor’s decree.  I never let a Valentine’s Day go by without reminding my children of the brave stand he took to honor God’s word and the biblical design for marriage and families.

But I also want my kids to be reminded of what love really is.  Our world so skews the true meaning of love and so taking my children back to scripture is important.  I also want them to think about all the ways God shows them His love, and how His love should motivate them to love others.

This FREE printable can get them thinking in that very direction!  Not only does it ask them how God shows His love toward them, but it also prompts them to think of ways they can show love toward their parents, siblings, friends, and neighbors.
